I Am Iranian, in the "27TH Fajr International Film Festival"

The Documentary Film " I Am Iranian" , directed by Mohsen Gholamzadeh was among the best 12 documentaries selected to be screened in different Cinemas in Tehran, Iran.

The 27th Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF), which was held from 31 Jan. 2009 until 10 Feb. in Tehran, Iran had entries of more than 374 feature/short Documentary films from around the world. The Selection committees of the sections "Video Cinema" and “Documentary and Short Films” announced their selected films after considering of more than 374 Documentaries and Short films in the 27th Fajr International Film Festival. Among the 374 films entries included 88 long videos, 128 short documentary films, 105 medium- length and 26 long feature documentaries.

" I Am Iranian " was among 12 long Feature Documentaries selected in the Section " Eye of Reality ”. Among the main points mentioned by the audiences and some critics about the film " I Am Iranian " included: the nicely portrayal of ancient history of Iran besides the modern life in Tehran without any political concerns as well as the beautiful visual aspects and the quality of the images.

I Am Iranian is a 86min. feature documentary directed by Mohsen Gholamzadeh and produced by M ahboubeh Honarian and DEFC . This film explores the attitudes of North American and European citizens and of Iranians living away from their homeland, as well as the extent of their knowledge, towards the culture and ancient civilization of Iran.
